Adult Day Services
Developmental Training
Opening Doors
The professional staff of Adult Services have been helping adults with severe cognitive and physical disabilities for over 12 years.
If you are a parent, guardian or care provider for a person with developmental disabilities eighteen years of age or older, then the Developmental Training Center may be appropriate for you.
Upon entry into the program, each individual adult will participate in the development of an Individual Habilitation Plan. This plan details the specific training and services the adult will receive. You and your family will be encouraged to take an active role in this process as members of the Planning Team.
The Center offers opportunities for the adult with disabilities to achieve the greatest level of self-reliance possible.
Functional skills for daily living are achieved in the areas of work, leisure and independence.
Vocational skills are achieved as the adult works on jobs that involve assembly, sorting, stuffing inserts and mailing.
At Adult Services doors are being opened on a daily basis.
