Independent Living Services
UCP Direct Service Professionals (DSPs) assist our customers with their personal needs including daily life skill training, housing, money management, transportation, socialization and recreation. DSPs are required to meet our strict human resources employment requirements. DSPs must complete 40 hours of specific in-service training annually, including First Aid, CPR and other emergency training. UCP of Greater New Orleans is licensed, certified and monitored by the State of Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals.
