Competitions/Results
The Hurricane athletes bowled in an invitational bowling tournament on Saturday, June 12th. The tournament took place at Don Carter Lanes on Williams, followed by a banquet and dance. Eleven Hurricane athletes competed among a field of 210 from surrounding Louisiana parishes. The Hurricanes took 1st, 2nd, 3rd and runner-up medal divisions respectufully. Congratulations to all who competed!
Every event is a true competition. Athletes are classified according to their abilities and must qualify with times and distances to advance to the next level of competition.
Our athletes have also participated in Paralympic Games held in Korea, Barcelona and Holland, and several team members won medals at these international games. For more information about Competitions/Results,
