Green Street and Greenwich Street Group Homes
One located in Jamaica Plain and the other in Dorchester, these homes were started in an effort to meet the critical need for community based housing for individuals with disabilities. These houses each provide a home for four to five adult men and women. The individuals are supported in the activities of daily living in order to participate in the everyday functions of a home environment. The staff in these houses provides opportunities for the individuals to participate in a variety of community activities and foster community membership. The funding for these two homes is provided through state contracts.
