Staffed Apartment Programs

Located throughout the Metro Boston area, this apartment program was started in an effort to meet the critical need for community based housing for individuals with disabilities who prefer not to live in the traditional group home setting. These apartments provide a home for one or two adult men and women. The individuals are supported in the activities of daily living in order to participate in the everyday functions of a home environment. The staff in these apartments provides opportunities for the individuals to participate in a variety of community activities and foster community membership. The funding for these apartments comes from various state funding sources.
