Computer Skills Development

using adaptive technologyAt United Cerebral Palsy of Greater St. Louis, our therapists and staff help individuals with disabilities use modern technology to engage in the language of life.

In the computer lab, UCP staff members teach people to access the internet, work on their communication skills and send emails to family, friends and businesses. Using
adaptive technology such as laser cursers, big button switches, enlarged keyboards, head pointers and more, UCP consumers have the opportunity to make the most
of their abilities while strengthening their computer skills.

In addition to teaching computer basics, UCP staff members assist individuals in achieving their personal goals whether their goal is self-advocacy, self-development, job training or creative expression.

For more information about Computer Skills Development, please contact UCP at (314) 994-1600 or send an e-mail.
