Personal Assistance Services Program
Provides adults with physical disabilities opportunities to work attend school or vocational training and live independently in the community. Assistance is given in the areas of light housekeeping, activities of daily living, shopping, meal preparation, correspondence, and mobility whether it be by providing transportation or through assistance with public transportation. Services are available to individuals who are employed, preparing for employment, attending an educational or training program or to support active participation in community-based activities, such as volunteer service or parenting. Individuals may receive up to 40 hours of services per week, depending on need.
