UCP is excited to announce a wonderful opportunity for you, your friends and family to attend the largest professional sporting event held in New Jersey while supporting UCP in it's vision of creating a life without limits for people with disabilities. This wonderful opportunity is possible through UCP's recent partnership with the PGA Tour through the TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ program.
TICKETS Fore CHARITY™ is a unique fundraising initiative designed to improve the quality of lives in the communities where PGA TOUR and Champions Tour tournaments are held. As a participating non-profit of this years TICKETS Fore CHARITYTM™ initiative UCP has the fantastic opportunity raise much needed funds by promoting the sales of tickets to The Barclays™ to be held August 26-29, 2010 at the Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, New Jersey. The Barclays™ Tournament is the first round of the FedExCup Playoffs and will feature the top 125 players on the FedExCup points list. Last year golf greats such as Padraig Harrington, Ernie Els, and Tiger Woods competed in 2009 The Barclays tournament.
When you purchase a ticket to attend this exciting sporting event, 100% of the net proceeds from the ticket sales go to charity: 75% of the net proceeds will benefit UCP and the other 25% goes to The First Tee of Metropolitan New York, a non-profit aimed at positively impacting the lives of young people through the game of golf. From now till June 30th you will be able to purchase a weekly grounds pass to the tournament at the discounted price of $50 (normally priced at $100). From July 1st - August 25th a Daily Ground Pass will be available at the discounted price of $45 (normally priced at $70). As a special bonus, with the purchase of each ticket two children age 17 and under are admitted for free.
