The Taste of Madison is an annual event on the Capitol Square during Labor Day weekend at which local restaurants sell samples from their menus. UCP recruits and manages over 800 volunteers who sell beverages to the public. You can help by being a part of the UCP team effort:
- Groups or individuals are needed to sell soda, beer or wine.
- Saturday & Sunday shifts are offered, each approximately four hours.
- Two licensed bartenders are needed at each beer stand. One bartender is needed at each wine stand.
- Only people over age 21 may serve beer or wine.
- High school groups, along with a supervising adult, are encouraged to staff soda stands.
