Picture this: every time you search for information on cerebral palsy, a new cheesecake recipe or reviews on the latest gadget, you can earn money for United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida.
With GoodSearch.com, you can do just that. Each search generates about a penny for United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida. And since GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo!, you will get relevant, high-quality search results.
If 1,000 supporters, volunteers or employees search twice a day through GoodSearch.com, United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida would receive an estimated $7,300 a year to help advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. The earning potential is without limits!
To use the service, open GoodSearch.com, type in "United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida" in the "I'm Supporting" textbox, and click "Verify." This chooses United Cerebral Palsy – Northwest Florida as your charity of choice. Then simply search as you would with any other popular search engine. The next time you go to GoodSearch.com, the last charity you picked (hopefully UCP!) will already be selected.
You can also add the GoodSearch.com search box to your toolbar for the web to make it easier to remember to use it. Just go to GoodSearch.com and click on Add GoodSearch to your IE, Firefox, or Mac toolbar and follow the instructions!
Last year, search engines raked in almost $6 billion from advertising. Help United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida harness some of that cash by using GoodSearch!
We hope that you will use GoodSearch as your main search engine from now on and will also pass this message on to your friends and family. The more people who use this, the more money will go to United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida to help advocate for the rights of people with disabilities.

What is Recycle for UCP?
United Cerebral Palsy has partnered with BCS Recycling Specialists, a recycling company based in California, to implement the “Recycle for UCP” Program. This partnership enables UCP and friends of UCP to work with BCS in
order to recycle laptops at a rate of $10.00 each; cell phones, Lexmark and HP Inkjets, and other PDAs at a rate of $2.50 each.
How does it work?
BCS provides the recycling collection boxes with the UCP logo and tagline that can be placed in office buildings, retail outlets, and other public locations. Once the box is full, all you have to do is flip open the lid, where a prepaid FedEx Freight slip is attached. The FedEx freights, both outgoing and incoming, are paid for by BCS. Each box also has a white sticker that signifies the return location so that a new recycling box can be sent.
The incoming receiving computer program at BCS will track returned boxes and inventory by zip code, affiliate name, and e-mailed requests. This allows boxes to be placed anywhere local support for the program exists. A copy of the outbound FedEx way bill will be faxed to the affiliate that makes a request so you will know that BCS has responded to that request.
Once the recycled items are inventoried, United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida will receive a check, with part of the proceeds being retained by UCP National to cover overhead costs.

Albertson’s Community Partners
Albertson’s grocery store has a terrific way to support UCP! Their fundraising program, "Community Partners" specifically benefits non-profit agencies, including United Cerebral Palsy of Northwest Florida! Albertson’s has made this program so simple to support; all you have to do is buy something you would anyway … groceries!
Simply take the Community Partners Card with you the next time you shop at
any Albertson’s, and present it to the cashier when you are checking out. You will not be asked to do anything you do not normally do when you go to the grocery store, besides presenting your card to the cashier. The amount of your
purchase is recorded under UCP’s account, and at the end of the quarter Albertson’s corporate office will send us a percentage of the total amount of groceries bought by UCP cardholders.
We truly appreciate your support for UCP. By using the Albertson’s card you will continue to help us help others. If you have any questions regarding the Albertson’s Community Partners Program, or want a card sent to you, please call me at 432-1596; or, email me at Pam Huggins.
