United Cerebral Palsy of Metropolitan Detroit (UCP of Metropolitan Detroit) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency with a commitment to people with disabilities and a mission of inclusion. Founded in 1949, UCP of Metropolitan Detroit has grown to be a major human service provider in the tri-county area (Macomb, Oakland and Wayne) and a strong advocate for disability rights. Today, UCP of Metropolitan Detroit serves more than 7,000 individuals and families, supporting their independence and community involvement.

You can help by getting involved in our Corporate Partner Program. Our unique sponsorship packages allow you the opportunity to give back to your community. We can tailor any level of sponsorship to your needs by focusing on what gives your organization the most exposure and promotion.

Developing a partnership with UCP of Metropolitan Detroit enables a company to access the passion of people with disabilities. This market consists of 54 million mainstream consumers with $1 trillion annual spending power. Through fundraising, special events, contributions, and in-kind support, UCP of Metropolitan Detroit is able to:

• Provide information and referral service to individuals with disabilities in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties;
• Assist adults with disabilities secure employment;
• Assist individuals with disabilities with transportation and assistive technology;
• Provide inclusive education advocacy and support to children with disabilities and their families;
• Offer training seminars in Metro Detroit communities.
