About UCP
For over fifty-four years, UCP of Central Minnesota (UCP-CM) has been serving people who are meeting the challenges of living with a disability in Stearns, Benton and Sherburne counties. Our programs and services include: Information & Referral; Financial Assistance for equipment; Public Education; Assistive Technology; and Scholarships for post-secondary education.
UCP-CM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We serve individuals with disabilities and their families in Benton, Sherburne and Stearns counties.
UCP-CM is supported by contributions from individuals, corporations, special events and United Way. Approximately 90% of monies we receive helps to provide local programs and services.
The balance goes to support research and national programs through United Cerebral Palsy National. We are one of more than 100 affiliates of UCP nationwide. UCP consistently ranks among the top five health care organizations for greatest percentage of funds going directly to programs and services.
